Changelog:

  • Re-added the giantess and the obstacles
  • Modified hero, NPC, and foot movement to feel as good as possible
  • Gave heroes and NPCs the ability to navigate around obstacles
  • Made NPCs collectable by the player and stompable by the giantess
  • Made an easier-to-avoid obstacle set
  • Gave temporary sprites to NPCs and giantess
  • Made the player, heroes, and NPCs 25% smaller
  • Removed the "Version" buttons in the menus
  • Disabled the "Quit" button in WebGL to prevent crashes

Known Bugs:

  • The feet sometimes stop walking, most likely when reaching the bottom at the same time
  • NPCs will occasionally spawn between large obstacles and the wall

Important Notes:

  • For testing purposes, I created the ability to spawn an NPC anywhere you left-click. Feel free to have fun with it!

Aside from my confusion at sloth's moving... I've seen a bug, where after we hit a wall and all our allies die except us... we get stuck behind, but giantess keeps walking... I don't know if that counts as "known bug" or not, but that happens. Also it is very hard to do anything at all when that happens, including moving upwards... We can still (slowly and surprisingly) move to the sides and the giantess follows... almost feels like controlling her instead of the hero... feel free to use that as a future feeture (pun intended)

Hmm, I'll look into that one next chance I get. It's one thing for the allies to get stuck, but it's a far more pressing issue if the player character gets stuck.
