Progress Report 5/27/2022 (Patreon)

New Friday new me! Here's what I got done this week:
- Made Undead follow the player even more closely
- Made each foot ignore NPCs if that foot is already chasing the player
- Made the feet aim for nearby NPCs if the player is on the opposite side
- Made the heroes die when stomped
- Made the heroes poof back on screen if they fall below the screen limits
- Made an easier-to-avoid obstacle set
- Gave the feet and breast new sprites for prototyping
- Adjusted the foot's collision mask to better match the new sprite
- Made the player, heroes, and NPCs 25% smaller
- Cleaned up the project by deleting unnecessary scripts and objects
- Released Run From Me v 0.1!
Despite all the progress, there really isn't much for me to talk about here, save for one thing: resizing the player, heroes, and NPCs. That decision started when I gave the feet their new sprite. The sizes lined up with the concept art, but it still felt like the feet were too small. I didn't want to increase the size of the feet because I really like how the perspective makes the giantess feel even bigger, so instead I shrunk the peeps down below to be even smaller.
...
There's really no way of explaining this without it sounding like part of the fetish. ^^; Anyways, all the people down below are now much smaller, and when they get stepped on it should be in a way that makes sense. In other words, they won't (or at least shouldn't) die if their ankle gets scraped by the giantess's toenail; it should be much more "Yeah, that would probably kill someone"-esque.
Words are hard today.
Fortunately I don't have to use any more words! If you're a Small patron you can go play it right now! :D Seriously, go play. I'm gonna watch you play from your bushes while eating Taco Bell veeeery slowly. I'll see you guys toni-... I mean, I'll see you guys again next week! :P
Up next: we begin the process of prototyping all the menus and UI! After fixing any significant bugs with this update, of course.
