Greetings adventurers!
There are some tenacious navigators in this world. The types that are driven to find everything and map the uncharted. Those that will throw themselves to the edges of the world trying to see what hasn’t been seen. Some of them are apparently also decent with a bow and have a vendetta with things that are quite a distance away. I’m not sure where all of that anger comes from, but what I do know is that I would be careful what I say to a cartographer. You never know if they’ve decided to engineer a longbow to take aim at you from a distance you can’t see them from.
Our patrons get early access to all of these items as well as additional formats that are easily usable in both physical and online play for D&D and Pathfinder 2E. Additionally they get high-res art exports, easy to use text exports, behind the scenes updates, and a lot more.

Design notes from Matthew:
Bows will probably always be one of my favorite things to design. There’s a lot you can do with a box and the aesthetics of it can be so flavorful. It’s one of my favorite types of weapons to make. Long distance shots are reasonably uncommon in TTRPGs as a lot of the time people want combat to happen right now, up close and personal. I always thought the idea of longer range combat could be something that would be a lot of fun if you allowed someone ample time to get themselves set and ready. This kind of long range ambush is what set up my direction on this item.
One of the more fascinating things about range in both 5E and PF2E is how some of the dropoffs in effectiveness work from distance. I get that they want to insure people aren’t able to just pluck away at a target miles away with little to no consequence, but I think a well placed shot could be something interesting to see in action. The idea of incorporating a navigator’s sextant was something that had stuck around from the start and I thought that would be a great way to set up the adjustments and careful preparation needed for these long shots.
The Allseer was something I had included in the design brief, but I wasn’t certain how to make it work. Eventually I went with wording similar to Arcane Eye for PF2E something similar to the Watchful Portrait for PF2E. It’s interesting how very different ideas can translate in just the type of mechanic you need for a current item.
We’re kicking off May with this bow, but we have so much more in store including some more great items as well as an interesting creature for our One More Thing that we hope you’ll enjoy quite a bit. We’ll also be working on our digital katalogue and much more as we journey through the month. We’ll keep you updated!
We highly encourage you to join our Discord server where you’ll get access to exclusive channels that have sneak peeks, behind the scenes chatter, and more.
