Modern Maps by Tom Cartos (Patreon)

One of the themes of AB has been lifting up other creators that we enjoy and trying to help them find their footing. We consider that to be core to how we run things, but there have also been folks that have lifted us up from the beginning and none more so than Tom Cartos.

You might know him for his amazing fantasy maps that he's been creating for years. I've used them in my campaigns and found the attention to detail to be second to none. As of today, he no longer just makes fantasy maps! Tom has launched a new Patreon called TC Modern where he'll be creating maps and assets ready for modern settings such as Delta Green, City of Mist, and Vampire: The Masquerade. I know I'm more than excited to check them out and I think you should give them a look too. 

Here's some more information:

Over on TC Modern, Tom will be releasing 2 full modern themed map sets and an asset pack every month, with the potential for more as the patreon grows. If you are familiar with Tom's content, then you will know what to expect. There will also be full Foundry VTT, DungeonDraft and Moulinette Cloud integration for higher tier patrons.There is already a full months worth of content available as soon as you sign up, and there will be no charges at all for the rest of April, so you can try it out and if you decide its not for you then cancel before the end of the month at no cost. Alternatively you can just download the free versions of the maps and free sample asset pack with no sign up required.  

Battlemaps

Similar to the regular Tom Cartos content, all map sets will be multi-level or multi-area, and come in Day, Night, Clean (Unfurnished) and Tile (No Background) variants as a minimum. They will be starting off with a few more generic locations, but Tom wants to hear from you what kind of modern themed maps you want to see. As well as present day, TC Modern will cover recent history (20th century) and near future/post apocalyptic themed content.  

Asset Packs

TC Modern Asset packs will be themed around the kinds of maps being released, with detailed objects and prefabs, but there will also be large 'Basic Furniture' packs that come in a variety of materials and colours so you can really customise the clean map variants, or your own creations.
