Greetings adventurers!

I’ll admit, this one was a tricky one to get our hands on. Sorry, I’ll stop. But seriously I think I deserve a hand for that one. Hey, don’t facepalm me. Seriously though, this special little mitt will make things a bit more difficult for prying eyes. They’re just drawn to look at the gaudiness of the glove and not so much at what else you might be up to in that time. Oh, and if someone asks, you didn’t get this from us.

Our patrons get early access to all of these items as well as additional formats that are easily usable in both physical and online play. Additionally they get high-res art exports, easy to use text exports, behind the scenes updates, and a lot more.

If that strikes your fancy, consider becoming a Patron

Design notes from Matthew:
A Hidden Hand is a word associated with people who would get things done out of sight and without association to the person that ordered it. Sometimes they were political, other times thieves, sometimes assassins, but Hidden Hands were the tools of the rich and powerful that would get the dirty work done while making sure no one could trace it back to their patron.
I love the concept and wanted to give an option in game that could operate a bit like a hidden hand. I wanted to take that nomenclature and apply it to a useful item that I could see a wide variety of people wanting to use. The most obvious here will be rogues. I made the determination that an attack with an unseen weapon should give advantage and of course that’s just sneak attack bait. It seemed fairly obvious.
What I was more interested in was the possibility of sleight of hand checks and what could come from those.  There’s a whole lot of interesting possibilities with this. The obvious is stealing something, but you could absolutely hide a small item from the view of others this way. There are limitless options when you start thinking unconventionally. I’ve mentioned it before, but uncommon rarity items are some of my favorites to develop for this very reason. They encourage you to think outside of combat and get into the worldspace. Also, sometimes uncommon can punch way above their weight if you use them correctly.

I was very excited to get this item out to you all, mostly because I love dipping into the lower rarities. It’s something that I definitely want to do more of in the future as well. They challenge me a bit more than your standard combat focused item. I know they don’t have the flair and panache of a big angry sword, but I like them anyway.

We highly encourage you to join our Discord server where you’ll get access to exclusive channels that have sneak peeks, behind the scenes chatter, and more.
