Greetings everyone!

The hands of resonance let you reach out to the world around you and sense what might be waiting for you around a corner or in the next room. It's not perfect, but you know, what ever is? These mitts even store a potential surprise for any that might get too close.

A look back from Matthew:
It's always my goal when making uncommon items to just make them more unique than powerful. Giving someone the ability to stop and sense the world around them in an alternate way can be very powerful if it's something that is up all the time, but balancing it around taking an action limits the possibility of it being powerful in combat. That's usually a great point of balance for uncommon items.
This one had a bit of a muted release as I think its lack of combat prowess was a tough sell for some people. Personally, I'm fully okay with that. I think that giving everything combat power is a mistake when designing magic items. You need to support other pillars as well.
These gloves were a bit tough for Fernando to illustrate as I didn't have a lot of visuals to go off of. Ultimately he found a great visual with these tough, rocky looking gloves and some resonant patterns on it. They landed in a great spot in my opinion.

I am a 1-year experienced DM whose party excels at combat; it is often quite difficult for me to create encounters for my party that will challenge them. Part of that is my fault for giving them magic items that enhance their combat prowess. Now combat-relevant magic items are certainly a necessity, but I appreciate your non-combat magic items so much as it is something that my party loves and that doesn't strain my tactical skill any more than it already is. Thanks for this wonderful item!
