#1簡易添削(simple correction of illustrations) (Pixiv Fanbox)

まだまだ試験的な運用となりますが、支援者限定でプチ添削を始めてみようかと思います。

添削への応募については記事の最後を参照ください。

This will still be a pilot service, but I would like to start a simple correction of illustrations for my fanbox supporters only.

悩んでいる部分：帽子の絵画的な塗り方

Area of concern: how to paint the hat painterly.

ということなので、主に帽子に関するアドバイスとなります。

上が元絵（左は初期、右は修正後だそうです）、下が添削後となります。

左のイラストの陰影を参考に、右のイラストを加筆させていただきました。

So this is mainly advice on the hat.

The top one is the original illustration (the left one is the initial, the right one is the revised one) and the bottom one is the one I corrected.

I used the shading of the illustration on the left as a reference and added on the right illustration.

・添削部分の解説

1,影の塗り方が原因で全体的に硬い印象だったので、境界の一部をぼかして柔らかさを出しました。

柔らかい素材を着彩する場合、全て硬いブラシで塗るのではなくエアブラシも取り入れると良いです。

2,陰影の境界線に彩度の高い色が入っていますが、明暗差があまりない場所（＝角度の変化が緩い）にくっきり入っているので不自然に見えています。

彩度が高くなるのは明暗差が大きい部分なので、一番暗くなる部分（＝角度の変化が大きい）の境界に軽く入れる程度で十分です。

3,リボンの一部が直線的で硬い印象だったため、緩やかな曲線にしました。

また、質感が曖昧で説得力があまりなかったので、ハイライトを追加してツヤのある素材にしています。絵画的に塗りたい場合、こういったディティールを塗りで表現するとそれらしくなります。

4,背景が鮮やかな水色なので、反射光として帽子の陰影部分に水色を反映させると背景に馴染んで自然に見えると思います。

5,暗い色の帽子で光が遮断されている割には、キャラの腹部にある落ち影の色が薄かったため、明暗を調整しました。

落ち影部分はがっつり暗くすると、立体感が出てより絵画らしくなるかと思います。

-Explanation of the correction section

1, The overall impression was hard because of the way the shadows were painted, so I blurred some of the borders to make them softer.

When coloring soft materials, it is good to incorporate an airbrush instead of using a hard brush to paint everything.

2, Color with high saturation is used in the borderline of the shading, but it is clearly placed in an area where there is little difference between light and dark (=where the change in angle is small), so it looks unnatural.

As the color saturation is high in areas where there is a large difference between light and dark, it is sufficient to lightly insert the color on the border of the darkest area (=where the change in angle is large).

3, As some of the ribbons were straight and gave a hard impression, I made them gently curved.

Also, the texture was vague and not very convincing, so I added highlights to make the material shiny. If you want to paint in a painterly manner, expressing this kind of detail in the paint will make it look more like it.

4, The background is a bright light blue, so if you reflect the light blue in the shaded areas of the hat as reflected light, it will blend in with the background and look natural.

5, The colour of the shadow on the character's abdomen was too light for the light being blocked by the dark-coloured hat, so I adjusted the brightness and darkness.

If you darken the shadow area, it will give a more three-dimensional effect and painterly.

※ユーザー名がfanboxと異なる場合、fanboxの登録名もお伝えください。

添削結果の記事公開については、添削希望者数にもよりますが大体1～2週間程度となります。

添削のボリュームは今回の記事と同じくらいです。

添削希望者が多い場合、支援期間が長い方を優先させていただきます。

あくまで作業過程がメインコンテンツで添削はおまけ枠となりますので、気長にお待ちいただける方のみご応募ください。

I will briefly correct your work under the following conditions.

-Works for all ages (No NSFW and works with extreme expressions).

-Works drawn by yourself (No reproductions or traced works).

-Works that can be published as articles in my fanbox.

Please send me "your work" as well as indicating "areas of concern" via Twitter DM (https://twitter.com/kyusoukyu) or pixiv message.

Please also tell me the acceptability of the following two points.

-Publish your name in my fanbox article

-(If you have a Twitter account) Mention your account

If your name is different from your fanbox registered name, please tell me your fanbox registered name.

The publication of the article with the correction results will take approximately 1-2 weeks, depending on the number of people who wish to be corrected.

The volume of corrections is about the same as this article.

If there are many applicants for correction, priority will be given to those who have been subscribed for a longer period of time.

Please only apply if you can wait patiently, as the work process is the main content and the corrections are an extra content.
