Poll Preview + Rambling Like a Dummy (Pixiv Fanbox)

Three of these were left-overs from when I didn't want to rig anyone from a previous poll. Notably Talim, Medusa(from Ascendant One), and Zhang Chunhua. There was a fourth character left over, but I was going to have to do a lot more work on the model than I expected, and I could do it - I've done similar work before - but I was just sitting there going "do I want to do this?" and the answer was a constant "no". So I replaced the character with an altered version of Shiragiku from Fatal Frame. You might be able to get why I altered Shiragiku, but that's neither here nor there and I don't feel like getting into it. I honestly could have skipped her spot, but I just kind of felt like a bit of trolling all around, really. I also just think she's cute in a ghost sort of way, and I like her penis hair. I mean, c'mon. You can't tell me that that hair does not look like a penis. Especially from the back.

As for Jade, I've been sitting on her model for over a year now. Had it more or less finished back when I was experimenting more with the "anime" style shaders. DQ11 uses a weird mix of shaders so I had to do some experimenting to get it to look similar to the games, but I think I did an okay job.

As for the ramble portion... I actually kind of lost track of time and had to scramble to rig some of these over the weekend. I didn't even properly rig one of the characters(have a guess as to which one - may be the one that is most likely to lose). I also only finished the poll animation yesterday due to procrastinating on it. It's... okay, I guess. I'm not sure how I feel about it. It's pretty lazy, but also has some effort into it? Yeah, it's just a mixed bag for me. A2 will eventually get something more proper, but I'm in a very lazy mood as of late so I've been putting things off more since I've got more free time to just relax.

Which I'll also segway into the fact that I did start actual animation work on my "project". It shouldn't be too bad once I get into the workflow of the whole thing. I will probably scale it back in the end, but we'll see. Still not totally sure when it'll be done, but hopefully by March. Will need to start on Ayane soon if I want something done by Christmas Eve... I'll also probably start on the public poll animation, since the winner is pretty clear at this point. Any guesses?
