Decided to go with Alisaie for the first Christmas set, since her red dress with the brown fluffy coat thing just makes me think of Christmas. As for the character I replaced A2 with, it's Zero from Drakengard 3. I was gonna put Kaine there, but I decided on Zero instead. Think Kaine has too high of a chance of winning compared to Zero.

Yeah, was never going to guess this character. Glad I didn't really tried. She really has a very unique look. Feels really fresh and new for your stuff, is nice when you really go for the rarest characters out there. Tomboys are always a win! But I find it weird you didn't at least pulled her top down at least in the riding anim. Don't get to have a glimpse at that glorious flat chest. Oh well.

Oh nice, Alisaie. Didn't really expect that one. Knew it was short hair but that hardly narrowed it down! Very good anims, especially the reclined one. Love the kind of leg twitching/shaking at the finish. Will Ivy get destroyed again in public? And not in a good way?

I wouldn't delete it, but the 1080p version will probably only take about 10-13 minutes to render, so I could at least throw that up in the meantime. Gotta have some clipping. As long as there's clipping, it can't be considered indistinguishable from reality. x) To be fair, I just didn't want a double Nier victory(even though Zero is kind of Nier). Whole point of replacing A2 is the hope of getting a different outcome, after all. And I also plan to save Kaine for a trolly day.

Yeah probably would've been a little easier, but maybe not because honestly it's been a long time since I've seen her since you know, FFXIV characters rarely get animated smut except for Y'shtola and some OC's. Ivy winning the biggest loser award at that point. Would be completely and utterly shocking.

I do have a strapon idea, but I haven't gotten around to it because the object for a strap-on is a bit rigid and that makes things hard to animate. Alisaie and Alphinaud are extremely similar and I do have his model and it's basically identical. I'll admit the troll in me was churning... but I'm holding back. Holding back for my trolling magnum opus.

Yeah, Y'shtola is the only one with an easily accessible model, and it's from Dissidia. The rest don't really exist - I only have Alisaie and Alphinaud. Never have found any other character from that game. After the double Aerith loss, nothing surprises me at this point really.

Alisaie content? A surprise to be sure, but a welcomed one! Definitely one of the cuter girls in FF. Her tsundere personality also strikes a chord with me. She's way too adorable! I never really thought about it, but you're right, the red/white really does feel christmassy. Good fit!

It's weird how the model ripping from that game is pretty much non-existent. I wonder why those are the only 2 who have been grabbed. Not worth the effort for people to grab other characters? From what I've heard from someone before, the models are in pieces, literally. Since it's an MMO where you can customize the characters, every part of the models are separate, and when exported they have to be pieced together manually, and none of the parts are aligned by default. So it's just obnoxious to do. I could be totally wrong, but that's what I've been told.

I think the NPCs use the same method. A lot of the bosses and monsters have been ripped from FFXIV, but not so much the characters. As for that, I don't know. I know nothing about ripping models outside of a couple of games, so I can't rightly say.

As someone with firsthand experience I can say porting the models from the game into Blender in a basic usable state isn't SUPER difficult (though there are definitely some notable hiccups if you wanted to do something like a head hack or wrap.) I think the lack of material is more an issue of motivation than anything, most I think are content with making stuff in-game with 3rd party tools. Additionally, while porting the characters and monsters to 3d software is pretty easy, porting the game environments and making them look even remotely decent is a huge pain in the ass.

Environments in general usually are a pain in the ass across just about everything. I tried to extract something from DMC5 once, and I quickly realized every model in the scene was its own individual model centered around the world origin and I noped out of that quickly. Wasn't about to manually place thousands upon thousands of models around the scene. x)

My big project may have some content that is outside the norm, I suppose, but it's mostly a means of amusing myself. I've actually laughed out loud at some of the ideas I've come up with, especially thinking about the possible reactions to said ideas. Still haven't started work on the actual animation side of things... because once I start, I might not be able to stop and I've got other things to work on. But I should start soon, because when it's in the idea phase it keeps getting bigger and bigger. I'm a stubborn, petty, and trollish person. I don't do stuff outside my normal wheelhouse because people getting upset or the like will only make me want to push their buttons more. When Lightning won that poll, my reaction was how I can use this to fuck with people. I try to keep the troll in my in check, you see.
