Dear Patrons,
after the deadline has been postponed many times, the Apple Arcade game I've been working on has finally been submitted today. Hurrah! This means I can finally get back to Beware :) I was already able to work a bit on the native VR version and just posted a download link for that - but judging from your past feedback (thank you!), I feel priority should be the non-VR version. Here's a short roadmap:
For now, no racing will be added - possibly in the future, if it fits the storyline.
I really like Quinn's suggestion to improve the AI's vision - it should be easier to hide/stay undetected
The enemy's behaviors should be more random, especially the repetitive chase trigger at the small dam, so that's something I'd like to do better.
I'll continue working on the storyline - and have a new idea for the player character's identity ;)
Further down the road, I'll be adding the two new terrains - this necessitates some work in optimizing performance, which will also help the VR version perform better.
