Let us reassure you right away: even if the percentage did not increase much, we are making progress. As optimization is a huge task, its progress is not counted in the 19%. We will update everything once this task is finished, in the meantime we gave it a separate progress bar.

So, this week we could make our first tests and changes to optimize the game. The amount of work ahead of us is huge, much more than we thought. Fortunately, we had taken precautions and allotted a lot of time so it won't delay the release.

It is important to understand that this memory problem is complicated to solve because on some PCs the game uses 1.5GB of RAM and on others 6GB.

We will have to rework the generation of all the graphic/sound elements of the game. So, there is a lot to do, but it should definitely solve the memory problems.

On her side, Sunny is feeling better and resumed work in small doses. She is currently working on the 3D transition of a character and adding improvements. We also increased the thickness of the outline of the characters because it had become too thin in the last version.

If everything goes well, we will be able to give you more precise numbers about the optimization next week and, who knows, maybe a test version 😊
