And for all those wondering what my main cast of heroes for my alternate  variation of the Naruto world, here we go. A more cohesive and less argumentative Team 7 with an ACTUAL dynamic and a good relationship.

From left to right:

Maneki - A Bakeneko that Sasuke befriends and becomes his familiar

Sasuke Uchiha - Naruto's friend and rival, whose mother, Mikoto Uchiha, has become the village's Fifth Hokage after she survived the Uchiha Massacre (not Tsunade).

Tayuya Hara - Naruto's best friend and love interest, whom he rescues from delinquents when he finds the homeless girl wandering Konoha, and saves her before she gets taken by Orochimaru

Naruto Uzumaki - The main hero of the story, growing up as a delinquent and becomes a brawler style hero

Sakura Haruno - Naruto's third love interest, who eventually begins training with Naruto to become a more well-rounded kunoichi

Kiyohime - The legendary dragon from the folklore tale, who Sakura rescues and who becomes her familiar.

Tamamo no Mae - The most famous Nine-Tailed Fox figure from Japanese mythology, who Naruto nurses back to health after finding her wounded in the streets.

Long story short, Naruto: Maoyu is based in a world of Naruto where chakra isn't the only element and super power dictating everybody's lives, and that there are multiple other continents and cultures across the entire globe with their own super powers and histories, with a structure that mirrors ours (e.g. there is a continent called Europa, an alternate version of Europe, and the people there use Mana instead of Chakra to perform superhuman feats).

In this world, the history of Naruto progresses unmolested up until Minato Namikaze's era when Fuma Kotaro begins seeking out an artifact from another continent hidden somewhere in the Elemental Nations, which sets the entire story and the events that take place in motion.

In the present day, Naruto grows up with a more delinquent lifestyle, getting into brawls and fights with multiple gangs around Konoha, developing him differently from what he was in canon. When he comes across a wounded Tamamo no Mae and Tayuya on two separate outings, his destiny begins to change.

Ultimately the characters begin encountering more supernatural figures and start coming into conflict with other characters from other continents, which inevitably leads to Naruto and his friends learning of Oda Nobunaga and that this villain is seeking to establish a thousand year empire of war.

I recommend checking out the story, since it's a good read and I put a lot of work into it. :)
