Btw are you skipping episodes 279-283 cause they are Filler Episodes?

It begins, one of the most epic, and emotional stretches in the show!

Gear Second, Second Gear... as I commented before, it's semantics. I'll say this, no use fighting the feels. Like the 10th time I'm seeing this, still hits the same as the first time.

- Second Gear does sound more natural than Gear Second in English. It's also translated sometimes as "Gear Two", which is how it's printed in the Japanese manga as "Gia 2" with a numeral 2, except the little pronunciation note above 2 says "Sekando". I think why fans are sometimes adamant it be called Gear Second is that Luffy is actually calling out the move in English, so he's literally saying "Gear Second", and it feels weird that some translations take what's already in English and change it, when other non-English moves are kept intact. Chopper's moves have the same issue, where he says them in English but they're translated differently, like when he literally shouts out "Guard Point" but it's translated as "Guard Boost". - "Boo" is the Japanese onomatopoeia for the fart sound, so "Coup de Boo" is indeed Franky propelling himself through the power of his own gas. Also, what kind of miracle fabric is his Speedo made of where it doesn't split open after that? - Franky is remarkably perceptive when he's not being perverted or angry.
