Like many people, I have to scrimp and save (and the worst part - wait) for some of the extras, and just make do with what I have until then.

Over the last several months, I've been putting away a portion of my income from Patreon, as well as whatever small amount I could spare from my regular job and piece by piece buying hardware in order to build a custom PC that would allow me to do better (and hopefully faster) graphics and game development work.

I hope to have it built within the next week and to have my files and software transferred over to it shortly after that.

I'm pleased to announce that earlier this week, I ordered the final pieces that will allow me to at long last, build the machine that I've wanted for a very long time.   I'll admit that I made some compromises on what I really wanted in order to speed up the process of getting it, but that just means there is room to upgrade.

In the meantime - my admittedly very ambitious update for Callie's Life continues.  My plan is that I'll be able to continue working on coding updates while the new machine renders the graphics.  Previously, I could only do one at the time as rendering would require all of my current machines resources to be fully dedicated in order to be successful.

I also want to take the opportunity to thank all of you for making this possible.  Your patronage is what did it.  You'll be reaping the benefits as much as I will.  Thank you!
