What kind of a picnic would you have... alone? What kind of picnic basket has only flowers... not food? This is not just a lonely day at the beach, it's a metaphor of vanity and unrealistic expectations. 

There are many unrealistic expectations I continue to entertain in my imagery. I am always battling myself with "well the REAL me wouldn't do this" and "well maybe if the world weren't full of rapists and predators... maybe I WOULD" ... Like maybe I would go to the beach alone in my lace two-piece with some pretty flowers and get naked and roll around in the sand. That sounds like a blast!

Alas it is a fantasy, at least it exists in the images I safely created with the photographer Gabino - one of my favorite collaborators in the Seattle area.

***A Wild Weekend!***

Today I am packing up for camping the next two nights! I feel kinda crazy packing my laptop everywhere, but I do have to get a couple hours of editing in here and there over the weekend, I have paid gigs!

My dad just had a serious spine surgery and he has to be in a neck brace for 6 weeks! I am scared for him because he likes being very active and I don't want him to accidentally mess up his spine in the healing process :( Send positive vibes please! I will get to see him in a few days, my other siblings and family friends have been checking on him in person every day too :) 

Well thanks again so very much for being a part of my sexy-positive journey! You are all the bomb!
