Faithful worshippers of the Man-Emperor!

In the last days, I had many dreams! They all insisted it couldn't be a sin to kill the Vile One!

Unfortunately, I also happen to have killed the bastard several chapters ago. But have no fear! I have a solution! Now it will be up in your omakes and your fanfics to kill this treacherous slime! Go forth, and send the Vile One back to be tortured by the Ruinous Powers for all eternity!

Now that this point (really necessary, I assure you) is made...

TWO 13-2 Legacy of Decay has been sent to the betas, and is now officially over (for the writing phase, anyway), at 39,000+ words.

As it has been promised, my efforts are now going to be about The odds were never in my favour, and the writing of chapter 115 should begin soon. Fifth Task awaits.

Enjoy!

Now onto my question/comments on the STC Knight Database (KD), given that Knight were originally just armed manual labour platforms for very dangerous worlds, I assume that the KD has all information the exact use and specialities of each pattern in Terran Federation. Now I very much doubt the Knight pattern which specialised in gather Lumber and killing monsters at the same time will still be used for that purpose in M35, however i could easily a Knight pattern which was used to setup and defend Outposts in the wildness being used to set up Firebases in M35 (i.e. it has a power fist for one of its arms to move crates or manipulate knight size tools). Another pattern that could potential be used in its original role is a knight which has increased communication space or the capacity to do for when the knight needs to lead expeditions in thick and untamed wildness and the expedition needs to be constant communication with the main colony, basically a mobile and armed communication nod. If the KD has this information along with any knight sized tool schematics and the potential different loads out for each of the pattern, then I could see the KD being very useful, especially as there is a perfect place in the Nyx sector to test this all out with a lot of Crystal dinos to kill (also why is that not a Knight world already).

Something is confusing me about this chapter. It seems to be implying that Taylor won't be present for the attack on Catachan. It makes sense that she would not be their early to prepare. But in thought she was needed to spread the swarms influence directly. Th adjutants were previously said to be able.to communicate with spiders and those arthropods already a part of the swarm. And the Sacrifice imbued queen ants should still be able to communicate with the other queens. But that still leaves every other arthropod as intrinsically hostile as before. And communication with the fauna of catachan, particularly the psychic varieties are not likely to be won over by diplomacy alone. Bile acting like Bile is no surprise. I can think of about a dozen ways that accepting a clone of fulgrim from bile, even if she is unaware of the source, could backfire. And that's assuming Bile does not intentionally sabotage anything. Which is probably the point.

So why is it important that you made Taylor couldn't have kids? Considering how much she works, I was always suspecting that her wives would have to one to bear it or use technology. So unless if the kids get stronger if she is the one to have them or if Chaos plans to do the Scattering 2.0 on Taylor's kids where her wives being a very vulnerable target it is not going to make a difference. So where did you get the lore for the "Chambers of Past Mistakes and Eternal Memories?" Did you get it from the novels or is it an Original idea? So I still don't get why Taylor can't just remove these mongrel Governors by direct force using her armies and fleets. While I understand there would be a political cost, the enemies who would try to move against her for this were already her enemies + could use this as a trap to kill them all. Who would be able punish her for this when everyone who is strong enough to is already in debt to her and all her political enemies don't have the armies and fleets to enforce their will in the Nyx Sector, since even Chaos can't do that. Laws without the power to enforce them are mere words on a piece of paper. Honestly these governors are courting death not knowing their place in the hierarchy. Not obeying a Living Saint is Heresy after all (at least in OTL). So why does Taylor want the ZFR Horizon Accelerator Engines? Are the Tau's sub-light engine's speed that much better than the Imperium? And comments on not needing a Gellar Field doesn't make sense for I have never heard of a 40k sub-light travel that used the Warp. Isn't traveling near light speed for long distances for the 40k universe kinda useless? Are you combining the ZFR Horizon Accelerator Engines and the Tau's FTL (Ether Drive/Gravitic Drive) into one?
