Problem locking, unlocking, and tiers (Patreon)

Right.

As predicted Patreon (the website, to be clear) make big changes, and now there are problems, to my complete lack of surprise.

I am still very annoyed by this new reality.

For the record, the creation of Tiers was in response to the fact that suddenly, you couldn't use the 'lock' function on my end without having Tiers. So I did it, and...well, now they are massive problems, and patrons are complaining (for good reason) they can't see many of my stories.

Sigh.

And the worst part of all? The site is insisting 'everything is fine'. Yet I think there's a reason why the pledges took a deep dive in the last two months...

Ahem.

I am going to try to fix it, obviously (even though I have the unpleasant sensation I am a blind man stumbling into the darkness).

Okay, first priority: if members here aren't able to 'unlock' one chapter, please tell me. I have the mail adresses, so I will send the chapter missing (for many it appears to be the last update of The odds were never in my favour) via gmail.

That's why I will make this post a free one, by the way. Better to avoid the locking problems at the source...

After that...

I think I will either create Tiers for most 'common' pledges from 1 dollar to 20 within the next week, that way everyone will have his or her pledge to change to...

And if it doesn't work, I will probably erase the tiers altogether and find out what the hell Patreon (the website) thought they were doing with this update...
