Here we go.

As multiple readers know quite clearly for having experienced it themselves, in the last couple of months, fanfiction.net has really began to experience some major difficulties (in no particular order: no more alerts, no more traffic stats, no pore PM alerts or way to contact your betas if you don't have back up options).

Needless to say, it doesn't amuse me, but since I have never received an answer from the website's owner, well. Anger isn't exactly productive.

Anyway.

As it stands, currently, The odds were never in my favour is the only story which is only updated on ff.net. With all the major flaws said website is currently experiencing, this is clearly not good, to use one of those charming British understatements.

That is why, beginning tomorrow, I will begin to update The odds were never in my favour on alternate history and Archive of our own.

To be clear, I don't intend to do a re-beta of the entire story. I don't have the time or the motivation for that, the story has grown over a million words, this would require more than a month of work (and I'm probably optimistic there, though the latter half of the story has been betaed by          MasterQwerster).

I will generally only try to keep it in the format it was posted it on ff.net and make sure there are no more problems. Even then, with 111 chapters to update, it is likely going to take a few days. I will begin by one website (most likely Archive of our own) and then shift to the other (alternate history).

Once it will be done, well, it will depends.

I'm waiting for Thanathos' betaing work. If it has arrived by then, this will get the priority, and TWO will be updated. If it hasn't, I will begin chapter 112 of The odds were never in my favour.

Ao3 has always been my preferred reading platform so regardless of why I'm happy for the move.
