War of Lions after chapter 40 (Patreon)

Here is the map for chapter 40 of The Dance is not Over, since I am going to post the whole chapter on different chapters today.

For this week, I have decided to write on The odds were never in my favour again. I have some inspiration for the beginning of the European Magical Tournament, and let's leave it at that.

I have also prepared the structure of Black Crusade 10-2, so when the betas send back their work, the chapter will be ready to be written.

The map just shows how much trouble the Red Lion are in. With Crakehall being under siege at the end of 40, they are about to lose their link to the sea which is going to be bad news for them (well, assuming they still have some off-shore allies to draw in resources from).

Other than possible proofing for WO, is there a plan for the remainder of the month?

Given how...limited Crakehall naval infrastructure and how few ships they have left, the Reds don't lose that much if they are cut off by sea. On morale purposes, it would still be a heavy blow, of course. But practically, the loss of Crakehall most devastating issue would be having the Reach armies unleashed in the Southern Marches. Once they are, the war's end is in sight.

Not that much for now...the current chapter will take most of this week (now that it has begun today. Depending on the speed of the betas, I will have between one and two weeks for other stories. I will see where my inspiration takes me this time.
