I found a map last week of a 'Westeros System' on Internet, but wasn't completely happy about some choices made by the creator, so I wondered if I could do something similar but different.

Here it is, feel free to zoom if you want to see everything.

Not planning to put it into a story anytime soon, but logically, it would be something for a ASOIAF/W40k crossover.

Aside from that, good news everyone, I have begun today writing on 10-1. Now yes-yes, the victory-triumph of Malal is in your claws-claws!

No King's Landing, huh? Interesting.

It’d be interesting if Winterfell and the ‘north’ were actually a bunch of moons and mini planetoids rangeing from Pluto to Venus size surrounding a stark white gas giant. Would be a reasonable explanation for the north’s pop having so much land but not people due to being at the end of the logistics chain and being so far from the suns heat and having to rely on Winterfeel for most complex biologicals if say Winterfell was the only planetoid able to host life natural life. Even if it was death world with every land mass being a Russia/Siberia type deal.

No, at least not on a planet's name ( a city is always possible). I was more thinking about placing such a scenario at the beginning of the Conquest anyway...

Antony444

Hmm...true. I was more thinking about Winterfell being one planet full of mega-fauna superpredators, the population having taking refuge in large mountain-fortresses defended by Knight walkers, but I suppose your version works too.

I find it interesting that half the Houses are clustered close together, inside the Iron Line (Martell, Baratheon, Tyrell, and Targaryen), while the other half are outside (Arryn, Stark, Lannister, and Tully). I would think that it would produce cultural clashes/divergences between 'Insiders' and 'Outsiders', and probably each group would have much closer relationships between themselves, than across the line. It would have ...interesting implications for the timeline and the plot.

Antony444

True. On the other hands, it would also mean that pre-Conquest (assuming one would go the canon road of course) there has been millennia of feuds between Martell, Durrandon, and Gardener (the Targaryen arriving later from Essos). Cultural divergences would be in some way less important between Stormlanders and Reachers, but they would have been much more bloodshed too.
