There will be a few more re-reading and correction tomorrow, but I think the overwhelming majority of this titanic work has been done.

Enjoy!

Silver Wolf

Just wanted to say thank you for all the work you done in this story.

John W

Thanks for newest chapter. Now to read it.

Congrats on the end of a major story arc! Hope you're getting plenty of rest, to avoid all they burnout. I'm at work at the moment, so I can't read it yet, but I'll bet it's great!

Confused

Well I can't wait for the next arc and all the changes to the sector that will happen during it!

frank schellingerhout

thx for the words as always wonder if there will be a spin off in the future showing the adventure's of leet and the squat traveling together :D

I've really been enjoying this story from the beginning, and you haven't disappointed in this chapter! We've wrapped up the main action, the spoils and general repercussions, and can now look forward to seeing what kind of Idiots decide to try their hand at 'cutting this Upstart down to size!' We've already seen indicators on a few of the 'long term' dangers brewing, but Taylor's Ovation I figure is going to be piled HIGH with idiotic attempts to 'put her in her place' by her enemies, and a few random idiots who can't imagine the kind of strength, determination, and raw power it would take to EARN her rank and accolades.

Antony444

Oh I am. And this is why in part I'm trying to shift to several other stories regularly, to take breaks and arrive to fresh ideas which are getting scarcer when I'm tired.

Antony444

I am glad you're so enthusiastic! As for the Nyx Sector, well there's going to be some big changes, and not just the ones hinted by Hediatrix in his POV.

Antony444

There will be 'updates' from time to time what those two are doing across the galaxy. It's going to make the shenanigans of two characters of Warhammer Fantasy look tame...

Antony444

Yes, there will be idiots trying to confront her directly, but in general they would have been the irredemable kind anyway. Most potential opponents, even if they don't like her, will be at least wise enough to try to disguise their schemes as non-confrontational, unless they have serious backing from someone important like a High Lord. And thanks for the support!

Thanks for the story! Will any more worm characters show up?

PRAISE THE GOD-EMPEROR!

Jeremy

As a 40K and Worms fan I have been enjoying you story a lot and eagerly awaiting each new chapter, so thank you for making such a great story. Though after reading the two most recent interludes I am curious if you have anything planned with the Iron Hands. They may not have heard yet but Weaver has ultimately avenged the death of their own Primarch at the hands of Fake-grim.

Antony444

I have things planned for every 1st Founding Chapter. But in the case of the Iron Hands, despite the settling of the Fulgrim situation, it's likely relationships between them and Taylor will be bad. They really haven't the same outlook on life.

Antony444

No, I think all the characters of Worm I intended to introduce have been shown.

Great Chapter as always. I'm still curious who Malicia is. Knowing Worm, but only having passingly familiar knowledge of Ward, my uneducated guess is that its March, who can gone from collecting multi-triggers to collecting Sorceries. If it is her, giving here the Hourglass of Screaming Sands certainly fits her impeccable timing powers. But, I could easily be completely wrong.

Antony444

Ah the great debate who Malicia is. I dearly want to say if you are right or wrong, but then the surprise would be lost and I would hear many screams from other readers...thanks for the support!

Qvantum

Thank you our Glorious Chaos Lord. Where are we going next? New chapter of Her Celestial Highness or other stories?

Antony444

Unless something drastic happens to change my mind, new chapter of Her Celestial Highness. I will begin on Thursday and to Sunday I will write the background and make the research, with the real writing work beginning on Sunday.

Regan

You know, I never really thought about it, but to anyone who had just returned from punting Commoragh into the abyss, flaggelants would seem a bit too... eladary, to be comfortable... or non-heresy-y.

Antony444

Yeah, and I assure you that in Arc 9 Taylor will make her displeasure quickly.

I reading the high lords of terra bit when I thought to myself I would not give Weaver a triumph either. Yes, I think we all can agree she more than earned it. But how much do most the high lords actually know about Weaver? Furthermore how much of that information can they really trust? I mean she a saint and the past several have been "wrath" aspects so she could be a nut job. This is something the cogboys and priest would actively hide if it was true. If you give the ultimate medal to a crazy and then they go on a rampage. It will require a lot of history to be rewritten. More importantly, if you hand the medal out Weaver would be a shoe-in for the highest position in the Imperial guard. Does Weaver have the skills to handle that post? She does have an impressive win list that just a lot tiny compared to everyone else that matters. Plus she killed a lot of nobles so you could face a full-on war in terra if she gets elected and things go south. So yea I would say no during the meeting after making sure the Administration ass owes me a favor so I can cash it in and smooth over some problems without worrying that the fool messing everything up.
