I will be posting 8-4 soon. I finished the beta-ing late, very late, last night. Writing on 8-5 will begin Wednesday, as promised.

Pray the God-Emperor, for he is the only shield against Nurgle's plagues...

Albino87

Will be interesting to see what the Fortress will do and the result of the Mark in the end. Keep up the good work and may the Emperors light shine on your path.

Note about Malal, and *his* relationship with the other four powers. 1) He WILL syphon more energy of by his mere existence passively and actively from Khorne more than any one else 2) He DETEST Tzeencth more than any other power, and while Khorne will likely actively attack Malal more than any other power, Malal's true hatred is against Tzeencht and he LIVES to pull down, apart and rip into little pieces any thing and all thing Tzeencht holds dear. 3) Nurgle as much as he can HATES Malal for one simple reason, Malal ironically represents Hope when it comes to dealing with Nurgle, that it is hope based on revenge and destruction is besides the point, Malal represents opposition to Nurgle, as such Nurgle is likely to become the second most active major power against Malal directly. 4) Depending on the outcome for Slaanesh, Malal just hates Her/him on general princibel, not least because for Malal she/It represents wasted energy and oppotunities for destruction. Malal is the ONE Chaos power that will work both behind the scenes AND in front to screw over other Chaos powers, note that is also almost ALWAYS done in a fashion that courses the most destruction and anarchy, that this will often lead to Exterminatus is besides the point for Malal . Malal does NOT do cults in the normal fashion, he WILL guide and help his followers to help each other, but Malal's followers are to a large degree loners or very small cliques (Not counting Skaven in this, only Humans) they on the other hand can and will be quite formidable with a rediculus number of immunities vs Warp based powers from everywhere else, incl Psykers, Psykers by the way is neither hated or loved by Malal, it completely depends on what you use your powers to do. Malal is BAD NEWS, his/its central philosophy is destruction and self annihilation writ large, and while he WILL ally with others against his *Brothers* he is NO friend of anybody incl himself, his numbers on various planets will always be low and Malal will ONLY increase in strength on said planet(s) if the power of Chaos is increasing likewise, IF a Malal cultist ends up on a Planet where no Chaos influence is noticeable, he is likely to unconsiously create opportunities for such cults to emerge just so he can attack and destroy them, otherwise he will likely decend into pure nihilistic terrorism just for the hell of it. (More later also this is the original Malal, Anthonys version is likely a little different maybe?)

Malal philosophy and servants will be uveiled arcs after acrs, mainly in the interludes on Sicarus.

You know, I wonder if that whole 40k “perception becomes reality” thing might apply to weaver. Being known as the angel of death to the survivors of an entire race may impact her presence in the warp... just a theory

Great update and lots to look forward to. I am particularly interested in the various Farseer reactions. I saw your AH comment on how most Farseers stopped looking and most of the ones that kept looking went mad. It will be interesting to see how the few successful viewing accounts, like Eldarad's, circulate among the craftworlds. I suspect they will seriously re-evaluate their policies regarding the Imperium. After all, the craftworld Aeldari could not destroy Commorragh, but the Imperium could and did. I expect Monkeigh is going to go out of fashion.

Antony444

The Imperium had always the firepower to sterilise Commorragh. The big problem was always getting there in one piece and be able to withdraw when the job is done.
