To be clear, this is exactly what I have written so far on Extermination 8-4. Save my notes, I've just begun writing the chapter, so I've withdrawn nearly nothing this time. There will be a more consequent update once I've really progressed on the writing.

Enjoy!

I'm loving what I'm reading so far

Boris Michenski

*Jumps up and down* Well, bye bye Fulgrim or what ever is left of you. Slaanesh got another blow, Nurgle finally acted. Well, let them kill each other, as much as possible.

Dale

I'm more curious about Nurgle's POV now. Of the Four, Nurgle's portrayed as 'grandfatherly'; those people forget it's ONLY to His Children that is true. He plays the Grandfather for others, but ONLY if he can induce you to 'surrender' to Him. The section starting this Teaser obviously came from Malys. The Necron section shows exactly how terrifying she is when she has to SERIOUSLY go to War. And a freaking QUADTRILLION THRONE GELTS, AND SECTOR OVERLORDSHIP?!? By Ziz, THAT'S a REWARD. I'll note I really REALLY want to examine our OPs notes. And I really SERIOUSLY want to know what the Sixth Endbringer might be!!!!!!!

Guilherme Bezerra

Very nice teaser. And it kind of gives clues to the other Endbringers. I am hoping the Simurgh is gonna showup for more Escalation! Question I have is regarding the Tyranids. Are they expected to show up later on the story?

Dale

One of them is already there. Check the chapter where Taylor was taming the 1st Queen Ant. Apparently those ants are cross-bred with a Hive Tyrant.

Antony444

Well, removing the Pride of the Emperor from the equation was going to weaken Slaanesh and presented absolutely no drawback whatsoever for Nurgle. So yes, Decay acted.

Antony444

I will kindly remind you that yes, the bounty is beyond enormous. On the other hand, it's likely it will even be more difficult to claim than Abaddon's head. At some point, the value of the bounty loses all importance if you have zero chance of winning it...

Forgottenone

The Necron bounty makes the IoM bounty look small and weak. Still it seems the Queen of Blades is more of a world killer then a army/fleet killer. Paint a nice picture how she fought a C'Tan and lived. Good luck Nurgle at stopping some of this mess cause I got a feeling the plots of the Emperor are many and the shadow point hides so much from all the seers even the Emperor himself.

You know every time I read the things you write about the Queen of Blades I find myself having to constantly say, 'this woman fought one of the C'tan alone and lived.' a feat only accomplished by the Emperor himself at the absolute height of his personal power against a severely weakened C'tan. At this point I'm agreeing with mister Redacted that she is the most dangerous endbringer.

Disappointed that Fulgrim won't come back, but not unexpected. Not everything can go the Imperium's way, ESPECIALLY in 40k. But what a teaser to drop. I hate you because you gave me ocean water instead of drinking water. Simply, I need more! But if you rushed and forced it out it wouldn't be as good! *Sigh* Guess I gotta wait like everybody else, UGH, waiting. ( Keep up the great work! Thanks for the teaser! Looking forward not just to this chapter, but to the one after, and the one after that ectera ecteea . Stay safe.)

Antony444

Well, the Queen isn't an insignificant threat for sure, yes. Though of course the other Endbringers will be unveiled in future battles are not lightweights either...

I have a sinking feeling that the sixth endbringer will be something Leet makes and gets out of hand.

Antony444

Keep in mind that this bounty (the Imperial one) is posted for the death of someone who is one of the best killers of this galaxy, but does not personally command large armies, corrupts hundreds of billions or try to inflict genocidal purges on inhabited worlds every Monday. Apart from her potential ability to reunify the Aeldari, Lelith is not in this age a particularly concerning threat.

Antony444

Yes, the other Three are not going to stay idle and meekly go back in the shadows just because the Emperor has given them a defeat. Thanks for the support!

Hive fleet Colossus ARE in the Milky way at this point, it is the one with Zoats, after it was destroyed in 226 M39, its movement was backtracked all the way back to M28, in M35 it should drift around Segmentum Tempestus. note that it is NOT an aggresive Hive fleet at this point, nor is it as large as Behemoth, you could call it a form of proto Tyranids lacking many of the forms and behaviors we would later come to know, as an example it has no Shadow in the Warp at this point.

Forgottenone

If I remember right Hive fleet Colossus was more of a scouting fleet at the start. Remember Eldar had a empire that did wipe out many Hive scout fleets before they went mad and made She-Who-Thirst.

Antony444

No. There will be issues from Leet's inventions in the future, but none will reach the Endbringer threshold.

frank schellingerhout

all hail the words wonder who what sector would be given away doubt the slayer of the queen on blade's is one is given the eye of terror sector to rulle and clear :D

>A massive greenish Warp Rift opened and swallowed the pride of the Emperor, banishing it from reality and unreality TTS Kaldor Draigo throwing a vortex-grenade at daemons while inside Immaterium: "We shall send them into the SUPER-WARP!"

Antony444

That would be particularly, frankly. More likely the Imperium will award you a Sector where the Lord (or Lady) Governor has betrayed his (or her) oaths and now they need a replacement.

8-4 chapter last in Commoragh ark?

Antony444

No, there will be 8-5, which title is sure to be 'Mark of Commorragh'.

Anonymous

it's weird but I'm almost waiting for chapter 6 where they will have to fight to share the loot and its consequences than the battle to come.

Rockinalice

Will you show us the bounties from everyone in the mark of commorragh

Antony444

Possibly. If I do not show them in this chapter, I will probably reveal them in the interludes.

Kevin Choi

More and more the 'War' part of the Warhammer is starting to seem boring to me lol! I really just want to see Taylor empire building up Nyx and dividing the loot. Her relationship with her girlfriend too. Those scenes are like reading a Naruto fic about Naruto being a merchant without chakra. Its fascinating and really helps explores what the universe is really like. Taylor's life inside the imperium is more fascinating the battles being played out no matter how glorious at the moment. After all, no matter how big and powerful you are, you can't really war non-stop all the time. What do the people of the imperium do when they aren't constantly fighting. They gotta build stuff.

Antony444

(grumble, grumble, tries to find a way for his reader to choke on these words, grumble...) Thanks for the likes, and yes, there must be some moments of peace, you can't be constantly at war...even if the Black Templars would vigorously disagree.
