Do you reckon your art would benefit from expanding your usual colour palette?? Sorry if my constant questions are annoying, I was that type of child back in school hahaha

I'm not exactly sure. For color, I think it's important to get a foundation first and foremost by drawing directly from real life as a starting point. This limits my color palette to what I see directly in front of me, and in turn, my color-picking in the future will be more accurate for anything of that color/texture when I'm not using a reference. In layman's terms: Draw a realistic strawberry now, so I can experiment with it in the future. So I guess I am actually expanding my color palette, or rather my coloring accuracy, with these kinds of studies.
