Is your animation style inspired by other animators? Or is it the progression of constant personal reflection and improvement? I feel like the movements for your characters have become more and more dynamic with each animation you've drawn.

I'd say it's a bit of a mix of both. If I see a technique in animation I personally like, I'll probably try to replicate it in some way, but I don't think I have any specific animators in mind. I also take what others say to heart, even if they're not even addressing me. It makes me question if I should change something about my own habits or techniques. For instance, I saw someone mention something about cartoons trying too hard to stay on-model, and as a result they feel restrained and sacrifice more interesting dynamic poses. I worried about practicing consistency before, but now that I've gotten a bit better at it, I think the next step is to break out of rigidity in ways that will make a character really come to life.
