Release Date Change - PLEASE READ! (Patreon)

Hey everyone!

Last night, I put up an 'emergency' poll about the Alpha release and possibly delaying or scrapping the Alpha release entirely (to release Beta 0.01 instead).

TLDR: Trying to squeeze the Alpha build out by the end of the month meant I could barely put a functional game together.  It has maybe 5 min of playtime and almost no new features.  It's incredibly underwhelming.

Something I wasn't expecting was 86% of Patrons voting to scrap the Alpha build and instead release the Beta 0.01 first which will happen around February 2021 (a little less than 2 months from now).

Thinking about this more, it's probably the best first impression I can give players for ZR2 and I think that's a much better option in general.  I want the first update to give players a good look at all of the early content of the game and the Alpha was not going to serve that purpose.

IMPORTANT: If you pledged $5 in December in hopes of playing the Alpha early, there is still enough time to cancel before Jan 1st when Patreon starts charging!!

I know not everyone will be happy with the decision to delay and I apologize for that but I genuinely believe most of those players would've been let down by the Alpha if it were to release today.  

I want to offer my thanks to everyone giving me support and understanding the decision.  It means so damn much!  I will try to make the first Beta update as good as I can so the wait is worth it.
