Saturday Update! (Patreon)

Hello friends! It's time for another Update!

I'm still working on the new Fox Dakimakura design full time, so that's all I really have to update about today!

Last week I inked both sides of the pillow and fully coloured [ or maybe 'shaded' is a more accurate term ] the dark monochrome side.

Without further ado, here's the final version of 'Dark side'!

I'm a bit concerned about how well it will print, since printing on 2 Way Tricot [ the dakimakura material I buy ] tends to come out darker, and even printing just a bit darker may lose a lot of detail on this piece. So I'm going to ask Vograce if they'd be willing to print a test out and take a photo for me before printing the mass batch. [ They've been willing to do similar things for me before so I'm pretty confident I can have it done- I also don't mind spending a bit extra if they ask for a fee ]

For the other side, all I have done so far is the inking:

Next week I'll be fully colouring it :) Since it's the 'Light side', I'll be going for a full colour look as well. I'll try to stream some of the work!

I'm also hoping that I'll be finished the daki design entirely around halfway through the week. I don't think it will take 5 full days to colour. Hopefully just 2 or 3.

So, once it's done, I'll be organizing and placing my Vograce order [ which may take a couple hours ] and then going right back to work on YKMET placeholder sprites! I'm quite eager to get back to game work after so long!

This coming Monday is also Blue Monday - statistically the most depressed day of the year. so please take extra care to be kind to yourself. It's very cold, dark, and miserable right now, but things will get better <3
