Saturday Update! (Patreon)

Hello again friends! This Saturday is a bit of a weird one, since I'm working on merch art rather than YKMET [ I'll be returning to doing placeholder sprites as soon as I finish the art for this new daki ]

I spent all week getting the sketch/plans done for the new daki. I'm pleased to say that I got more done than I expected! I expected to need a week for each side of the pillow sketches, but I got both sides done this week. I think it's because my new computer can actually handle the large files without tons of waiting for my computer to chug along along near death LMAO

Here's what I have done so far!

This is Side A, or in this case, I'm calling it 'Dark Side'. This side will be colored like the dark/stream sections of the DLC- pretty much entirely black and white! Very heavily pitch black! The objects on the sheets with him will be barely visible, just shiny parts glinting a bit in the minimal light :)

This is Side B, or in this case 'Light Side'! This side of the pillow will be colored more traditionally, with the same sort of look as the existing trio of dakis.

Overall, I'm actually very pleased with how they came out so far. I hope I can keep it up and do them justice in the final rendering phase!

Speaking of that, I'm guess that final rendering will likely take a week per side [ so 2 more weeks ] but I'm not sure. It may take less, with the new computer. 

I also may stream some of it since my new computer can probably handle that! If I do, I'll notify you guys in the discord server :) [ no schedule, sorry! I just stream when I have the energy and feel like it ]

I think that's about all I have to update you guys on! I know I haven't been owrking on the game again yet, but I've had a great first week back to work. I've been feeling cheerful and productive! I'm so glad to be back in my routine!
