Saturday Update! (Patreon)

Hello again people! I hope you're doing well!

Last week was a bit exhausting, I worked on Sunday when I shouldn't have and social media was pretty rough [ a lot of people had negative opinions about my strade sprite color experiment and it got to me because I was tired ^^; ] 

BUT I still think I got a fair bit of work done. Actually, I think it may be time for another illustrative progress graphic, because I think these placeholders are going to take longer than I originally expected.

I'm not terribly worried about them taking longer though- the reason they are is because I'm drawing them a lot more solidly than my placeholders in previous games. These can actually act pretty much as base sketches for final sprites [ although I will likely make adjustments ].

I think this approach is working out really well! It's giving me a chance to really practice drawing him before I even start the final art. I think it will have a positive effect on the final product :D

Also, I've made some minor changes to the standing sprite base design after considering the feedback I got. Nothing too major, but just fixing up his silhouette pretty much!

Thicker arms and legs to fit his physique better, and loosening up the hair in the back. Giving him less of a pear shape and more of the brick shape I intended haha!

Anyway, that's about all I have for now- next week will be more of the same, just creating more placeholder sketches and filling out the game :)

OH I FORGOT ONE THING!

I got my new strade patches in the mail!

I'm quite happy with the quality!
