Saturday Update! (Patreon)

Hello friends! Happy New Years Eve! I finally have some progress this week on the DLC to show :)

DLC Sprite Progress: 41/107

IMPORTANT: To any new patrons, this DLC is secret! Please don't tell anyone I'm working on it! I want it to be a surprise :)

So last week was very eventful and busy! I was somewhat distracted throughout the week due to my massive dakimakura shipment details and arrival.

The shipment arrived [ mostly, 16 out of 17 boxes, last straggler's coming on tuesday apparently ] on Friday so I had to spend a few hours going through all the boxes, organizing and inspecting the merch, etc.

I'm going to have to spend Monday taking product photos, editing them, creating listings, weighing and measuring stuff, just general store work. Then I anticipate losing Tuesday and possibly Wednesday to packing orders.

Oh! I also have a bit of bad news. I'm not sure I'll be able to sell the LED light up keychains :( My fault- I didn't realized there were so many regulations regarding lithium ion batteries and air shipping. I'm gonna do more research and see what I can do, but for now they will not be for sale. Sorry!

Anyways, enough of the boring stuff! Here's some examples of the spritework I've been doing last week!

I mostly worked on a set of close up sprites, these are a good example of my 'Hybrid' approach that I'm trying for this DLC. The sprites are still technically sprites, but I'm drawing them like I would draw CGs and moving the background as needed to make them look nice. 

And I did 5 variants of this one, here's a couple!

I also had a bit of time on Friday before my shipment arrived to get a fair amount of sketching done for a new standalone sprite :) This one might have to work for my merch stuff to calm down but I think the remaining work on it should go quickly!

And that's all I have for this week! 

Next week will be half store work, but then it's back to full-time DLC hopefully!
