Saturday Update! (Patreon)

It feels slightly redundant to post a fully green bar BUT AT THIS POINT IT'S THE PRINCIPAL OF THE THING LMAO

Well, this is it folks! I finished the art! Feels like an alien concept to me and I don't think I've processed it yet, but thems the facts!

I thought the last batch would take longer actually, but tbh I got a second wind last week and just totally busted my ass getting them done LMAO

On Monday I finished up the sketches, Tuesday I absolutely inked my tits off- somehow got all 9 fullbodies inked in one day. Not sure how that happened honestly I just put on music and woke up several hours later with my ears ringing basically.

Then on Wednesday I did the flats, which was almost as tough as the inks because the details were so small [ lots of touching up ]. Thursday and Friday I scrambled to get the shading done, and here we are! All done! 🎉

Wish I could show you guys that last batch but alas, it's heavy spoilers! In my opinion I think they came out pretty good tho!

Anyway, I'm sure you guys are curious about what's next! For the immediate future, I'm gonna be taking the next week off [ I'm pretty burnt out now x'D ] but hopefully I can still think of something to update you with next Saturday :D

After that, we begin Audio work! I'll be doing one last editing pass through the game as I play through every ending and add in music and sound effects [ that I'll be buying from some source, hopefully researched and decided during my week off ]. I'm also going to approach someone and TRY to make a business deal to get us a special licensed song for the credits section. NO PROMISES but I'll be up to that next week as well [ wish me luck! ]

Once the audio is done and I've done some final touches to the UI [ mostly I want a proper title screen image, and I need to program in the loading images/warnings ], I'll compile the game into a Beta version for all you guys to test [ if you want to ]! And I'm not 100% sure how I'll organize that but it will probably end up being a discord server [ or maybe a google doc if I get desperate but that sounds harder with lots of people honestly ]

I'M SORRY! I forgot about the credits post until now! ^^; I have no excuse, I just got too caught up in my own bullshit tbh. I'll be making the post either today or tomorrow when I have time!
