Hello again friends! It's time for updates!

I'm a little surprised about it, but I managed to stay on schedule last week! I had a pretty smooth and productive time. The weather around here has been a lot more tolerable too =w= it's been feeling so much easier to work.

I think I've just been feeling healthier in general! I've been eating healthier thanks to a meal prep service I'm trying, and I've been able to socialize more too. I've just been feeling so strangely... normal x'D I'm gonna take that as a huge win because shit's been rough in the past and I usually have more issues during summer [ KNOCK ON WOOD LMAO ]

Anyway! Enough about my shocking normalcy! Let's get on to the art! [ unfortunate hanging deer at the end of the post, not gory but still a bummer ]

This set took an extra day because I underestimated the extra effort of drawing 3 characters >_>;;; Last weekend I had to work all Saturday on it. But thankfully it is done now! I'm happy with how it came out too, especially since these particular CGs show up so early in the game [ I think they might actually be the first ones you can see on Derek's route? ]

I'm happy with the lighting effects too. I'm trying to put a little more variation in the ways that I color x'D I don't want to pass up opportunities for style at the cost of realism, ya know?

Speaking of realism, here's yet another painstakingly rendered forest scene x'D

On the bright side, I'm getting REALLY efficient at drawing specifically this kind of forest scene LMAO I have a real system going with using some fancy brushes for texture. I think you'd be impressed if you saw how fast I can texture a tree trunk now x'DDD

This scene also has a second variant, and I'll be getting to that on Monday. Thankfully, it won't involve any more forest rendering LMAO
