Hello everyone! I can't believe we're at the end of yet another month- I'm losing time like it's greased up jello lately.

Production wasn't the best last week. I did get some important work done, but I was really scrambling to keep up. I had too many other things on my plate [ personal stuff I don't really want to go into, but it is resolved now and I should be working at a much better capacity next week ]

I'm pretty bushwacked right now but a weekend of relaxation should fix me up!

As for what I did actually accomplish, I've completed the central storyline for Celia's path and I'm now knocking out the endings. I know that sounds like I got maybe half the work done- but I can assure you that MOST of the work on Celia's path is the central storyline [ at least in terms of sprites ] since the endings are conveyed more often with CGs.

I did draw a few more sprites [ Celia now has 8 side-sprites and 19 fullbody sprites ], and I also took a few opportunities to jazz up the visuals with some basic transforms [ like using an elongated background to pan the camera, or adding a heartbeat effect ].

Since I touched up this room background earlier and made it taller, I was able to do some fun camera panning during multiple events later in the game. Very jazzed about that!

My sprite art this week was also a bit... experimental. Celia is so expressive that I've had to use my photo app to reference off of. It's more work, but I think I'm really learning a lot!

Even though these last few weeks have been an absolute gauntlet, I feel like I'm also gaining A LOT of experience with art and direction.

I also gave Harold a couple of minor expressions. I wasn't planning on giving him any for his short appearance, but the scene seemed a bit flat so I gave him some slight variations to make the scene flow better.

And that about wraps it up!

I won't lie, I am bummed that I didn't get more accomplished this month. I know I can sometimes set some unrealistic expectations for myself...

But on the other hand, I feel really good about the quality of what I did produce. It may not be coming out as fast as I wanted but it's coming out as polished [ or more polished ] than I anticipated, and I think when I look back on this in the long run I'll be proud of what I created.

And don't forget! It's the end of the month so please check over your current pledges and make sure they're what you feel comfortable with for next month. Things are so hard right now in certain places.

All of my updates are unlocked at $1, so if things are getting tight, please lower your pledge - you won't miss anything! [ and I will be fine! I have the privilege of a safe job and I have access to help if I ever need it. Do NOT worry about me! ]

Stay safe out there friends <3
