Saturday Update! (Patreon)

Hi everyone! It's that time of the week again!

The entire world is in disarray and everyone's going a little crazy, but In this one small spot everything is just continuing as normal- and for that I am so very thankful to all of you!

I'm very lucky to just be able to keep chugging away at my work like normal!

I have very simply been chugging away at Derek's backgrounds. I'm getting a crash course in rendering rocks and sand...

I'm now done 3 out of 7 background areas for Derek. It takes me two days of work to churn out the 4 time variants for each area.

Here's a few examples of what I've done!

That last one was especially arduous LOL! but I am happy with the results. They've turned out more realistic than my other backgrounds... but as I always say- 'Improvement is better than Consistency' and in this case I'm willing to let there be some quality differences between backgrounds if it means always trying my best.

And that's about it for this dirt simple update! I'm just gonna continue chugging away at the backgrounds! Since I have 4 left, I anticipate that I should be finished with backgrounds on the 22nd!

And of course, before I go, I want to say a huge thank you to you guys again. I am so lucky and so blessed to be able to work like this during these hard times. It's always a joy to work for you guys, but now it's an absolute luxury. Thank you so much!!!
