Saturday Update (Patreon)

Hi again everyone!

I'll admit, this has been a ROUGH week. I was plagued by awful software problems and personal life crisis. Both are solved now! [ I updated my OS to Catalina and ended up needing to update and replace a ton of programs, then fix a very persistent driver error with my tablet, then on Friday my cat went missing for several hours. After much pure panic, my next door neighbour called me. She was in their bathroom ¬_¬ the fire alarm guys let her out of my apartment ].

But enough complaining about my personal life! That's not what you guys are here for XD You're here for juicy updates, and I have them.

Over the week I've gotten the first couple backgrounds done! And the game looks so much nicer with them ;-; It will be satisfying to continue to replace the placeholders!

The backgrounds in Mason's path all have 4 versions each- daytime, sunrise, sunset, and nighttime. It's extra work, but it looks so nice when it's in play!

Another major gameplay update was the additions of a 'delete data' button.

On the collections page, there's now a button [ that asks for confirmation twice, don't worry ] that can reset ALL your game data, including your save files. This could be useful for players down the line who want to start over fresh.

I also did some more bug squashing, thanks to my alpha tester team. We're catching a lot of spelling, grammar, and continuity errors.

I was hoping to get more art done, but it was a wild week! @_@ I'm hoping next week will be much smoother!
