Okay, this has been a tough week! I worked hard, but there was a bit of a setback, and I ended up behind by one ending.

My landlord informed me on Monday that my apartment would be getting an emergency preventative treatment for bedbugs, so I ended up losing Wednesday [ I had to move all my furniture, vacuum, get the cat and myself out of the house for 6 hours, then move all my furniture again and I was too exhausted to work ]. Good news is that I don't have bedbugs and hopefully won't get them now the treatment's been done! They were across the hall in my landlord's apartment.

But I think I still got a lot of work done, all things considered!

I managed to bang out 4 endings plus a bunch of other stuff:

- I added a small scene to fix a logic error with poisoned water. Basically, there's an item in your inventory that can poison you and I had it end up with an outdoor death scene- this didn't make sense if the player used the item inside a cave and even less sense if they also had rescued victims hiding in the cave with them, so now they'll stop you from drinking it if you try in their presence.

- I added some cgs to the scene where the player can rescue/abandon Richard

- I changed the display subroutine so that it would automatically pop up the sprites of any fellow victims you've saved every time you enter the cave. This was finicky!

- fixed a bug that crashed the game upon entering Celia or Mason's route that I created when I fixed the map for Derek's route [ fix one thing, break two... ]

- fixed the sleep system which stopped displaying flavour text when the player wakes up. I also added in some cute dialogue for if they wake up in the cave with rescued friends [ Tom will ask if the player is OK and Jaqueline will lightly tease the player for passing out ]

And that's about it! I'm bummed that I'm an ending behind but I just found out that this month has 31 days instead of 30 so hey, now I have an extra day to catch up! I only have 3 endings left to cover now. One is very simple and the other two are fairly complicated. I'm positive I can get them done in the next week.

Then, next month is FINALLY art and testing! That's so exciting! I'm really looking forward to it.

Let's throw in a placeholder of a very stabby Jack

Anyway, thank you guys so much for your help and patience through all this! As always, it's an absolute pleasure to work for you! <3<3<3 Stay warm!
