Hi guys! I wanted to slap down a quick update on game progress.

I admit, this week has been a bit slow. I had bad burnout from February and took a couple days off ^-^;;

However! I have still accomplished a couple important things!

I'm mostly getting into writing content for the Mountain path, so I can't show you very much. I've decided to write content directly into the game since the structure is so non-linear. 

I now have one of the most central game path nailed down. This involved programming in locations or 'pathing' for Mason to follow while the player moves around on their own accord. If the player happens to land in the same area as Mason, they will have an 'encounter' :3c

[ Mason will eventually get sprite updates but I want to get writing out before doing those! ]

Another important change has been a reprogramming of the old death screen. It doesn't LOOK terribly different, but I assure you- the code is much cleaner now X'D

And as a nice little tidbit, players now have a choice to load on death rather than just being spit back into the menu.

And that's about it for now! I'm hoping to get a bunch more events programmed in soon!
