Hello folks! It's finally the weekend!

Last week was very.... eventful for me, so I'm afraid the sprite progress isn't quite as robust as I would like it to be ^^;

I got 22 done, when I generally aim for 30-35 😩

But, I know I did try my best so I'm not gonna dwell on it!

Image Finalization Progress: 296/743 - 40%

Last week I got my new Cintiq! I replaced my 9 year old Cintiq 13" with a Cintiq Pro 16" and it's very nice! It's silky smooth to operate and the colors perfectly match my newer computer screen- I didn't realize how 'off' my colors were as I was using the old Cintiq 😅

It did take a couple hours to fully set up the hardware/software and to properly pack up the old one. But the work is done now!

I also did a lot of condo-purchasing work. I finished reading all the condo docs and I organized and attended a professional inspection, which was very useful for telling me how I should concentrate future repairs. A couple of the appliances and a toilet were fully broken, but I expected as much LMAO There's a really surprising amount of broken glass and dishes in every appliance [ even the fridge???? ]. I found that a bit funny since the rest of the unit is totally cleaned out 😂

I also paid my deposit and got my lawyer and realtor in touch with each other. I removed my conditions so the next step should be actually getting possession for real 👀 it's exciting!

And of course, I'm sure you guys all know since my last update- I got briefly put in patreon jail for having nono drawings on my personal website. So that was a bit stressful for sure- but was thankfully fixed pretty quickly.

And of course all of this happened in like 34C heat so I was honestly having a bit of a hard time functioning [ my apartment doesn't have AC ]

BUT

I still got some sprites done! I managed to FINALLY finish the rest of the 'close2' sprites!

The remaining ones were more work since it wasn't just expressions, but pose and prop changes as well.

I tried out drawing 'the player' with absolutely no shading at all, but a complete silhouette. I found that I actually really like this look a lot! I think it suits the style and still manages to get across the information that's needed. Sometimes less really is more!

And I think that's about all I have for you guys this time! Sorry for the slight rushing here, I'm on a bit of a time limit LMAO

But please do stay safe and have a great weekend- and stay cool and hydrated too!

Thank you all so much for your support!!! <3

well I saw a very interesting entry in one of the condo minutes documents I got [ the records of previous condo board meetings ] and from what I could tell, it sounded like an attendee had a grievance about the size of someone else's dog, saying that it broke the condo rules. That person was told 'there's nothing we can do without written complaints' So I got the impression that the condo board is actually rather reluctant to enforce pet rules when there aren't multiple complaints about the pets. Very interesting information for a woman such as me with desires such as mine.

The art glow up is crazy, I'm such a sucker for the linework it reminds me of Hades' art style a bit actually! Congrats on the tablet and aaaa you're 40% done with the images that's absolutely wild!! Make sure you take care of yourself and drink water !!

I can't put in words how much your art has inspired me to get out of my comfort zone as an artist and actually try and improve again. You and my friend have helped me improve as an artist more in a few months then I have in years before I found you
