I've been unsuspended! (Patreon)

Hello folks! Sorry to bother you on a Thursday but I figured I better get you guys in the loop on what's happened.

Yesterday my account on Patreon was suspended [ you may not have even noticed ]. This is my fault, I wasn't clear enough on the rules of off-platform activity. The old artwork on my personal website violates Patreon's TOS, and because I had clear links from that website to Patreon, it fell under their jurisdiction.

A member of the Patreon guidelines crew contacted me and told me to remove the links between the websites. I immediately complied with the request and applied for a review.

My review was quickly performed and with the links all removed, my account has been found to be once again in compliance with the rules, and the suspension has been lifted 🎉

I admit, I'm feeling very happy with Patreon's customer service in this regard. They were very fair and responded quickly to me. It makes me feel safer to be operating here, knowing that my account wont simply be wiped- but I'll just enter a cooperative talk with them during a suspension to fix any violations.

Now, the main reason I'm writing this post is because during my single day of suspension, Patreon was not charging any of my followers. If you are hoping to get on the credits this month, and you just happened to have your automatic charge come out yesterday, you may have been missed. I'm not sure exactly how the system works in that regard to be honest. But, it might be worth checking to make sure you're still subscribed to my page if you want to be.

Aside from that, business continues as usual! Back to work for me!
