Gunwild: Nerd.
Psu: Very.
Gunwild: I meant you.
Psu: I'm not wrong.
Gunwild: Yes, that's so. Okay, truth time, we have carefully discussed the merits of lots of sci-fi clothing, so I'm just as much of a nerd. Mostly we like these understated wool Starfleet uniforms, although we have noticed that they still don't have pockets.
Psu: I've heard that Gene Rodenberry believed that in the future you wouldn't have pockets or zippers. It's a mystery where the tricorder was supposed to be.
Gunwild: Maybe he thought holsters were the future. And for a while there, people were in fact putting their phones in them! Anyway, color-coding your command staff may be helpful for the TV audience, but it seems like a good way to pick them out as targets for the enemy. Not that peaked caps and shiny swords are much better...
Psu: I wonder if we were sure Cassiopeia was going to be a color comic, if we might've done a color coding system for the Regency. If we kept it a black and white comic, I think no one would've realized Maddy was part alien this whole time!
Gunwild: #GrayWashingScandal
Psu: :p
Psu: Oh hey, I just wanted to talk about one thing with Maddy. I know Cassiopeia is the one who seems to make a big deal out of having neat outfits. But Maddy absolutely loves dressing up, even if she doesn't admit it. I suspect she used to visit a lot of Cosplay groups online.
Gunwild: Yes! I keep saying this, but we have to show that more so we can put her in more outfits later on. People like seeing characters in outfits.
Psu: Maybe that'll be our thing for extra art this October. I can think of a lot worse things than just drawing our characters cosplaying different stuff. Suggestions?
Gunwild: Let us know, our best-beloved $7 patrons!
