Hi guys. I want to share this process. I took a picture from one of my figures and use it as a light reference. I take advantage of shadow and let the light show the main points of interest.  I will share the PSD file too.

See how it is important use light as a tool. I love to play with the shadows and light.

Hope you can find this useful to your process.

Thanks

Speaking of Super Sonico, ever thought of introducing a character with a body type like Super Pochaco? Or Cattleya from Queen's Blade?

I have a question, or rather, a small request. How does this relate to picking the different shades of colors to use? For example, there is a light shining on Astrid's right leg. How do you know what shades of colors you need? On a side note, this is excellent! Keep up the good work!

Yeah. Pochaco is a nice character. Maybe the body type of one of the existing character change a little, I have something in mind. :D

The light on the leg and hips is the same source light. Also its on the reference that same light, the only thing is that I make it more visible. In this case Im coloring the image with light. Instead of shading Im adding light. The color of the shade is a dark violet base. Try to analyse the PSD file. There are some steps. If you have more questions please tell me.
