Hello friends! I have some bad-ish news. After much thought and a lot of anxiety on the subject, I've decided not to release Jester's Bad Advice.

Di-votee's and above ($15+) have already seen the first episode, which I worked very hard on, so I do want to share it with all Patrons: You can watch it here. However, I won't be editing the second episode I wrote and filmed, I won't be continuing the series, and I won't be releasing this episode outside of Patreon.

I'm not sure I can explain myself well enough to be clear, but basically, since initially conceptualizing this series way back in November, I've seen firsthand how different the Critical Role fandom is from other fandoms. I've never been concerned about overstepping when I created content based on huge, highly corporate media properties like Game of Thrones or Harry Potter, but Critical Role feels so much more personal than any of those big properties. Creating an ongoing series like this feels like I'm overreaching, which is something I never want to do in a fandom I care about as much as I care about this one.

Again, I know that many of you probably won't understand what I mean, and that's fine! But please withhold any encouragement to continue or release the series — I've made my decision and it's final.

Thank you all for your support and for trusting me, not just with what I choose to make, but with what I choose not to make! I have so many more fun projects in the works and I hope they'll be even better and even more exciting than this one.

As a long time fan, I can say you have a special talent for the q and a. I hope you find some way to do it again, that you are comfortable with.

I joined late, but I found you because of #CR; and stayed because of your sincerity! Stay true!
