PHEW, what a day! I woke up at 6:30am like a crazy person and headed over to my parents' to film "Jesters" today, as well as shoot some stills and polaroids of the holiday Jester costume! It was my first time putting on the whole thing with the full makeup. We spent about two hours tearing apart the dining room and building a massive set in it (sorry, mom and dad...) My dad even dismantled the chandelier for me so it wouldn't be in the way! Man, I'm lucky to have such supportive parents.

Then I put it all on! I definitely feel like I'm getting more comfortable doing this makeup look. Thankfully it took less than two hours this time... phew!

Then we spent a few hours filming the dancing! Yesterday, I took about half the day to choreograph what was essentially a dance for two people. Today I would dance one part, then switch to the other side of the set, and dance the other part! I'll piece together the two parts in my video editor, so it'll look like there are two of me dancing.

Shockingly, I did okay at the dancing! When the video was done, we shot some photos (including the image for the "Invoke Festivity" postcard, which I'll hopefully be sending to print tonight!) and then my mom helped me shoot all the December polaroids.

Finally, I recorded a few little short videos and joke clips! Whenever I wear Jester, I make sure to get as much content as I can, because it takes so long to get into costume and makeup. Even though I've been wearing Jester about once a month since I made her, I need to have enough content to pace myself through the month!

Anyway, time to get to work on photos and video — stay tuned for updates! And don't forget to check out the Patron Instagram Stories for behind-the-scenes updates from today.
