If you're following the Patron instagram, you might've seen some little previews of my new Jester song, a parody of Carrie Underwood's "Before He Cheats" (warning: spoilers for recent Critical Role episodes!)

This music video will be pretty quick, but I want to make sure I don't half-ass the set regardless, so I've been drawing up some sketches to get my thoughts in order, as well as mapping out some simple little animations I'll be doing in Jester's sketchbook.

One thing I've learned from doing greenscreen work with Not Literally is that the more real items you can have in the foreground, the easier it is to "sell" the greenscreen effect. Basically, it just prevents the background from looking flat and helps with immersion. The smartest way to do it is to build a set that is mostly real, but incorporates greenscreen for a cool effect.

Let me know if any of you want a little tutorial on how to put together a greenscreen set & key out the screen in Adobe Premiere! I'm still pretty new to it, but it's surprisingly easy so long as you have the right equipment.

(And yes, that little doodle does say "chest o' dicks.")

OK, I'll bite - where are you going to get a Chest O' Dicks from?
