The gif might take a second to load.  But most of the rig is ready to go for the frog dude and I'm working on his basic animation cycles right now.  I still need to do the blendshapes and facial rig setup.  But he's getting there.  

I also ran into the engine crash / freezing my computer again but this time it was outside of editing niagara fx stuff.  So I started digging through the Unreal Engine forum threads trying to see if anyone else is encountering similar issues.  The one headache with my issue is that I never get a crash dump from it.  My computer just locks up completely and then won't restart. It looks like it might be an issue with dx12 and that the graphics drivers haven't caught up to the engine development?  If you can't tell this stuff is a bit over my head, I'm just a simple video game developer.  At the moment I'm running things with dx11 and so far everything has been stable but I also haven't tried doing Niagara stuff again... yet.

Ultimately it would be really awesome to have everything voice acted inside of Feign but that's a little bit out of scope and budget at this point in time.  But maybe animated text would help convey some of the tone and nuance to the characters?  I dunno, what do you think?  Is animated text a good idea?  Or is it just sort of a headache / distraction?

Just a heads up, most of my experience is in 3d characters, modeling and texturing, most of the other parts of the pipeline I'm not nearly as comfortable with and there's still a ton I'm learning :)
