Weekly Update #8 - 4/21/23 (Patreon)

Hey everyone!

Hope you've had a good week with good weather. It's been really busy on my end between Alpha Genes and standard work stuff. Alpha Genes is definitely taking a fair amount of testing, but I think I'm about halfway done at this point in the testing phase, so that's good! I'll probably hold off updating the mod until I hit completion for Alpha Genes (and maybe Dub's Bad Hygiene?), which I hope will be next weekend.

In terms of housekeeping stuff, I'm going to send out a couple of admin surveys this week to touchbase with how the Patreon is working for everyone - notably I'm thinking I might condense the $3, 5, and 7 tiers into one $3 tier to help alleviate a bit of the workload for me and because the differences between them is kinda marginal, tbh. Like I said, I'll send out a poll because I want to hear people's input, and of course for those in the higher tiers, I'm not going to expect you to keep paying the higher amount. 

Similarly, I'll talk with you guys about Styles - is that something you're enjoying? Would you prefer I just focus on Packs like Auronya and Dubs and Alpha Genes? If it's something that people feel is nice, but really not that big of a deal for them, I'll probably shelve it for now just to help with workload and all that. 

LIFE UPDATES: 

Honestly, just work, haha. Uh, I've been practicing pixel art and will be tackling that full-on this coming week(s) for my job. It's been a while since having to actually, like, learn art techniques rather than just throwing stuff at the art wall and seeing what sticks. Can't say I missed it, haha. Oh well, I guess it's not a good day if you don't learn something new, even if it makes you want to tear your hair out in the process.
