Figured i'd try to flesh out my plans for the future a little bit just so things are as transparent as possible. I'm hoping to continue along with these short forts for a while longer and I really have no idea when i'll go back to a longer format. In the current version of DF, the stress system really makes managing long-term forts a giant hassle and I really don't want to have any more stories end in tantrum spirals.

I'm hoping that the next update (and ensuing bugfixes) won't be too too far away at this point, but i'm not getting my hope very high! Still not even sure if the next version will tweak the stress system, but I believe it's getting some sort of attention.

I'm enjoying the short forts for now and I even have a few interesting plans for the near future. Gonna try out something I haven't done before and I think you guys'll like it!

-it is still going to be DF related :)

Oh! also, i'll take this time to mention that I have plans to take an honest-to-goodness vacation in the near near future. Believe it or not I haven't actually taken a week off since I started this schtick (Sometime 2016) and if I ever do miss a week's upload, it usually means i'm doing all sorts of behind the scenes channel junk. This will be good I think. Glad to be able to do something with my family.

Maybe i'll post some teaser type stuff during the week I have off? Ooh, that'd be fun! I'll try to put some stuff together for then.

I REALLY think you should consider doing some more adventure mode questing within the worlds you've built, that was an excellent part of the honeystoker series

Trying to beat the stress is the funnest part, at least to watch someone else try to manage : ). Like my dream is to try to get a fort with 1000+ dwarves but I tend to not even make it past the first siege, you know, just still learning. Literally just started playing because of your videos.
