Not a spoiler anymore at this point since you were given the information in past episodes. So to give you an answer about the Eren "death" in episode 5 when Santa Claus Titan swallows him, it's because he didn't actually bite him or his spine. Remember Rod Reiss told Historia specifically in Season 3 to consume Erens spinal fluid, in order to inherit the Founding Titan.

From what I gathered, Santa Claus would have become the Attack/founding titan had he chew or crushed Eren’s spine. He only swallowed Eren. The spine seems to be important in becoming one of the nine. There’s also mentions of spine everywhere in the story. Titans manifesting from the spine outwards, Zeke’s spinal fluid, the king ordering his children into eating spines in the Ymir’s story.

Paras

I got the chills when connie said that at the end lmao

since wit studio never really explained the Ackermans really well back in season 3, I will, Like Eren said in the table scene, “Ackermans can use a portion of the titans power while maintaining their form” ( this is in the anime, idk why it goes unnoticed) so in other words, they were design in a way that they could use the titans power while keeping his human form. thats why they are strong and can heal really fast, thats why Mikasa, when a titan crushed her ribs, was healed in less than a week.

Is this not a Part 3 spoiler? I'm an anime-only and that sounds like it would be a reveal in Part 3.

Azmaing1

Eren said it in the manga in that table scene from s4 e14 but they cut it out from the anime sadly

Visually already showed that when mikasa first awakened her powers she had the same yellow lightning you see call down on Titan shifters before they transform, except in her case the lightning was in and around her body, before rushing forward to kill that man.

Maybe don't provide this kind of description yet. This seems like a spoiler to me as an anime-only AoT fan. The show has shuffled things up from the manga before iirc, so there is no reason to think something like this wouldn't be explained in the future.

Eren said in the table scene, “Ackermans can use a portion of the titans power while maintaining their form” He said that in the anime, in the manga he goes more in detail. it’s not a spoiler, I just explained in more detail

A A

Eren already said that himself on the table scene, and back in season 3 Mikasa remembers how a strong power emerged from her, you can literally see the same lightning when titans shifters transform.

To "save the world", huh? At this point anyone except Eren and Floch are completely braindead. Or more precise, any Eldian in the "Alliance" is. Levi, Armin, Mikasa, Jean, Connie and Hange: "The outside world wants to genocide us, our people, culture, island and family. They're even brainwashing children to despise our race and existence, and they're doing bloodtests all over the globe to detect any Eldian. We've fought and dedicated our hearts for our freedom, so many of our friends have died horrible deaths by the titans produced by the outside world to eat us and terrorize us. Eren our best friend, went through hell and back to get hold of the founding titan for us to save us and our homeland." "But fuck all of that. Fuck Eren. We want to go against everything dear to us and stop Eren now and doom our homeland and family because we want to be heroes for our enemies." I hope Isayama has a very good reason for this writing, if not, fuck logic and AOT being better than GoT.

tell me you don't understand the characters and the story without telling me you don't understand the characters and the story

About Kat's doubt of why the Santa Claus titan didn't get the attack titan when he ate Eren. Sonny was partially right, he didn't take Eren's power not only because Eren didn't die, but also because the the Santa Claus titan did not consume Eren's spinal fluid (which is where all the titan power resides in the spine)

I think Connie found Annie's way of eating funny because she reminds him of Sasha, idk.

vdalson

Fun little detail, the group made to stop Eren in the final scene is comprised of the Colossal, Jaw, Female, and Armored titans, the same ones that invaded Paradis and kickstarted everything in the first place.

The following info isn't a spoil since it was supposed to come out earlier in the story but the anime didn't adapt it. About the Ackermanns, in the manga, when Eren speaks to Armin and Mikasa in the restaurant, he tells them that ackermanns are this strong because they come from a long line of a family that was modified by the royal family and the founding titan's powers. Basically, they spent decades doing experiences on them in order to reshape their dna, making them able to draw out a bit of the titans' powers through the path, all while staying humans.

april 🍏

yes but there's a Part 3 coming out so maybe don't talk about it until you know for sure that it's not a spoiler. Most anime onlys don't know this info yet so it would really suck if it was a reveal that got spoiled.

april 🍏

It is a spoiler because it's important information from the manga that hasn't been put in the anime yet. Just because they haven't adapted it into the scene it was orginally in doesn't mean they won't adapt it at all.

Seen where the anime is at right now, it's pretty safe to assume this info is never showing up in the anime. And it wouldn't be the first time the anime takes something off/changes something from the manga. It's just one line and they won't make a detour just for one sentence. Especially because at this point, ackermanns' bloodline isn't really the main focus at all.

i loved the panel/backstory of hallucigenia in the manga , but the anime adapatation makes sense with cutting certain points, tp keep the flow of editing and pace great. here is an example where it doesn't really affect the current main narrative , but is more trivial to know that in anime than when in manga format :P
