If the last one was tough to watch, then this was almost torture. It certainly hit us right in the feels. And because of the failure, Eren now has to be handed over to the Military Police?! Damn, what the hell is going to happen..

One if the saddest episodes of AOT even if it started with Action hype from Levi but we sober up really quickly to concentrate on the human struggles. And just a remark, at one point you see Levi with the Levi squad corpses cutting Petra ´s sigil to keep it and after the whole incident with Dieter he decided to give it to him because he needed that symbol more that him. Got to love Levi!!

omg i forgot how painful is this episode ,theres too much pain ,idk why seeing eren crying like that always gets me *sighs* maybe bc i love him too much lol , also i dont think you guys looked into it much but at that part of petra's father talking to levi ,i think it was pretty obvious that she had a crush on him and she told her father about it in that letter ,thats why he mentioned that shes still young to get married, levi's face in that scene its just heartbreaking to see (even tho i dont think it was mutual but it still hurt him obviously)

I don't know if you guys noticed, but at the risk of adding onto the tears, the patch that Levi gives to Dieter is actually Petra's patch that he took from her body just a bit earlier in the episode. Just gives a bit more insight into his personality.

It always surprised me that Deitre didn't figure it out, considering he picked up Ivan's corpse, and Levi never went anywhere near it to be able to grab Ivan's patch. Although it isn't entirely clear if Deitre was fooled or simply overcome by Levi's kindness and his own regret.
