We move from a Katara heavy episode to one that focuses mostly on Sokka. And once again this was a very emotional one for us, where we really had sort of a deep conversation afterwards. Oh and we get to see Iroh again, and how he is coping with captivity.
We are really loving this season so far!

Only a truly great show would take the time to acknowledge how it must feel to be the one in the group who feels inadequate by comparison. Thematically, this is one of my favorite episodes.

The fight sequence at the end is so incredibly well done. Great animation and great dialogue by Piandao. Also, something cool is that Sokka's humbleness wasn't there in Season 1. He has grown so much since that first episode.

the gaang missing him was such a great touch! really drove the point they need him! not just for strategy and plans, but for levity. these kids are fighting a war! Sokka keeps the group in high spirits

Hey Guys, just a heads up that there is a two-parter on episode 10, one on episode 14 and a 4 part finale starting on episode 18. This season also has 21 episodes instead of 20. Since you seem to be sticking to two episodes per week, you may want to adjust to offset by one episode before the first two-parter on episode 10.

Since you guys have been to Island Im sure you might have visited Gullfoss ? Well if you did, you probably could have guessed where they took inspiration from when Sokka was drawing that painting ;)

I love this this chapter so much. Sokka is such a great character i am glad he got the attention he deserves. Until now he was mostly on the side lines. But this was about him. Even when we saw the group alone together, it was about him.
